At Klickitat PUD, we try to make it easy to do business with us. Below are some of our customer services.
Paying your bill

Discounts help low-income elderly customers

To ease the burden of winter heating bills, the PUD offers 10 to 40
percent discounts to low income seniors from December through April. In
fact, Klickitat PUD was the first PUD in the region to offer such a boost
to its elderly customers.
To qualify for the senior discount, customers must be at least 62 years old and have annual household incomes below $20,000. Customers can apply for the discount by contacting the county Senior Services office, 773-3757, or 800-447-7858. Payment arrangements
Sometimes things come up and you can't pay your PUD bill in full and
on time. If that happens, the worst thing you can do is just
not pay your bill and hope it goes away, says Billing Clerk Lori. Not paying your bill means you'll get collection points on your account,
plus possibly additional charges for late notices and having the power
disconnected and reconnected.
If you're having a problem, call our Customer Service Department. Often we can make payment arrangements that will help you in the short term.
