Electric rates for each customer class
Klickitat PUD has approximately 11,250 customers being served by 1,600 miles of powerline.
Residential and Small Farm
The majority of PUD customers are in the Residential and Small Farm
Service class. These customers have single-phase electricity that serves a single-family residence or farm.
Residential and Small Farm rates
Small General Service
This rate class applies to non-residential, single-phase power customers who use less than 15,000 kilowatt hours of electricity in a calendar year. (That is about what the average residential customer uses in a year.) Small businesses and other non-residential uses (shops, detached garages, etc.) are included.
Small General Service rates
Medium General Service
This rate class was created in 1998. These customers are three-phase power customers with annual power use of less than 180,000 kilowatt hours in a calendar year. These rates are also for single-phase service with energy consumption of more than 15,000 but less than 180,000 kilowatt hours a year. Typical customers are churches, offices, schools and banks.

Large General Service
Most of the PUD's largest customers fit into the Large General Service class. It is used for three-phase power customers with annual power use of more than 180,000 kilowatt hours a year. Typical customers are grocery stores, motels, hospitals, warehouses and manufacturing facilities.

Irrigation
Irrigation accounts use electricity to power irrigation pumps for agricultural purposes.
